POM Glazed Pork and a POM Giveaway!

This Giveaway is now closed!

I made a POM glaze last night for dinner, and it was well received! I found it online the other week and since I have a case of POM to use up, this recipe was marked.
Since we all loved it, I thought I'd do a quick giveaway for 2 of my readers!

I have 2 coupons for a free 16oz bottle of POM, a $5.59 value! This is going on for today only! Yep, if you are a loyal reader, have my blog in your reader or just happen upon my blog today for the first time, you will know about this giveaway!

Did you know that POM has a blog of their own? Did you know that POM is a Superhero? "With incredibly high levels of naturally occurring polyphenol antioxidants, POM Wonderful Pomegranate Juice helps guard your body against free radicals, nasty little molecules that emerging science shows may be linked to disease. That’s a real super power. So what’s it like having a personal superhero? It’s easy to find out. Exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet and drink a glass of the Antioxidant Superpower to save the day. Every day."

To me pomegranate juice like cranberry juice with that dry bitterness. I can't drink it straight, so I like to mix POM with 7up or orange juice, Mmmm. I have a few other recipes bookmarked as well to try, such as their POM morning shake.

So, to win a coupon, comment me below by telling me which recipe here you might try your juice in? Be sure to leave contact info*!

My Giveaway ends: Tonight! Extended time! 10 pm PST, Sunday, March 22, 2009.
Please read the fine print:
-Open to USA readers only please

-You must leave me a way to contact you, or your comment is invalid*
-Winner(s) will be emailed, posted on my Blog, Twitter & Flickr
-I will choose my random winner(s) using Random.org

*Follow along with my blog and you won't miss it if you are a winner! Good luck!

  1. Pom. I have such a bittersweet relationship with that fruit. One of their 10 finalists for the POM blogger contest, I was borken hearted when I lost. I seriously would LOVE to be paid to blog recipes for POM. It is the most magnificent company.

In any case, your recipe looks DELIGHTFUl and I will most definitely try it out. THANK YOU!

  3. I've always wanted to try some of that juice, but I can't afford to spend upwards of $5 on a bottle of juice of that size that likely would only be consumed by me. I love pomegranates, though, and it's been years since I've had one.

If not just drinking it straight up, I'd like to try some of their recipes mixing it into other drinks... the Pom Iced Tea sounds pretty great!

  9. Thanks for the extension -- it's ten until ten central time and I'd love to be part of the POM contest. I, too, have a budget limitation that keeps me from trying new things that appear costly. And, a beloved husband that isn't the most adventerous when it comes to new foods. With a win, we'd both be in a win/win situation!
