Askinosie Chocolate Giveaway!



As I already mentioned, the folks at Askinosie Chocolate https://www.askinosie.com/ were generous to send me some of their chocolate to bake with. It came just in time for my Cinco de Mayo treats!     I learned that while they do not use an import broker, they DO use a shipping broker. Go team obscure facts!

  6. I learned they what the farmers do with the beans postharvest has a big impact on the flavor so they work one on one with their supplying farms!

  8. Where did the name "Askinosie" come from?
    It's my last name; so it came from my parents.

    That is one thing I learned, but I also learned so much more. I am going to check it out in detail when I have more time....there is so much to see on the site.

  36. Does not add any vanilla or lecithin of any kind to products. In fact, they don't add any additives to their chocolate; beans and sugar that's it.
