Angell Organic Candy Bars: Review

"At Jungell, they know that energy bars and gourmet chocolate bars have their place. But sometimes, what you really want is a candy bar. A good old-fashioned candy bar. But you DON’T have to have a candy bar loaded with corn syrup and made from GMO ingredients, grown with petroleum fertilizers and harsh pesticides. You don’t have to buy chocolate that may have been farmed by child- and slave labor. You CAN have a candy bar that tastes good and that you can feel good about eating. You can have an Angell bar." Check out their commitment to satisfy the classic cravings through better ingredients here.

I was sent samples of each of their candy bars, and I will tell you, they are pretty good, no missing out on the bad kind of candy bars!

Angell Crisp, a classic combination of smooth, creamy milk chocolate and crispy rice. Every bit a candy bar, but gluten-free, and made from the same organic and Fair Trade Certified® ingredients as the rest. This one is Gluten Free and 170 calories! *

Snow Angell, our sleeper hit. Everyone who tries it loves it. Even chocolate purists who think white chocolate is not chocolate. A subtler candy bar made from creamy white chocolate wrapped around a delicious, organic coconut center. This one is low in sodium and 190 calories.
Dark Angell, sophisticated and perfectly balanced. A refined combination of luxurious organic dark chocolate, wrapped around a smooth cocoa center with organic almonds for crunch. This one is Vegan and 180 calories!

I think my favorite was the Snow Angell then the Angell Crisp. These aren't like the candy bars you're used too, the insides are sort of like a mashed up fillings of goodness and then covered in chocolate.

You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter as well as blogging!

I wrote this review for "Mommy? I'm Hungry!" about Angell Bars. I received free product to keep for this review from Angell Bars. All opinions for this review are that of myself & family. Product info & stock images provided by PR or Co. *source
