Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo: Review

Fisher-Price® is inviting everyone to enter into the Little People™ Animal Sounds Contest with help from celebrity Zoologist and children’s television show host, Jarod Miller.

The Little People™ Animal Sounds Contest would love for parents to submit a video of their child demonstrating his or her best roar, grrrr or squawk for the chance to win a $10,000 cash prize and a trip to Fisher-Price headquarters in East Aurora, N.Y. for a special photo shoot.
Fisher-Price is thrilled to launch a contest of this magnitude that also gives people the chance to submit their entries via an iPhone® or Android™ mobile device and taps into social media trends by encouraging consumers to share their video links on Facebook and ask their friends and families to vote.
Check out the contest launch video here!

The Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo is a detailed, interactive playset featuring animal recognition technology that brings animals to life in a fun, unique way! Place any Little People Zoo Talkers animal on the peg at the hut and it recognizes that specific animal and responds with that animal’s name and corresponding sound. Playset incorporates four habitats (Grasslands, North and South Poles, Jungle, Water) with fun activities on both sides and room for multiple children to play at once. Grasslands features pass-through cave and lion’s perch. Arctic features a perch with squeaking sound effects plus a winding waterslide that exits into the Water region below – there, press the lily pad to get fun sound effects and watch the hippo’s mouth open and close. Jungle features swing, spinning treetop that clicks, teeter-totter with clicking sound as it moves and peek-a-boo door. Ticket area features button that activates fun phrases and musical “ditties” about each habitat. Lots more built-in details, a moveable red flag, perches and peek-a-boo openings for playset play. Comes with lion, polar bear and gorilla figures – match them to their habitats using the built-in signage. Also includes Zookeeper Zack figure. Playset has a built in handle for easy portability. Requires 3 “AA” batteries, not included.

The Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo arrived in store this past July, it retails for $39.99 and is age appropriate for 1 ½-5 years. Clearly it's fun for any age as below you can see my 8 yr old and 4 1/2 yr old having fun. What you didn't see were all the neighborhood boys (8 yrs+) and my 14 yr old also playing with it, lol. What a great playset this is, it's loaded with sounds and activities for your child to enjoy for a good little while. This would make a fun gift for the Holidays coming up. We keep it out on the train table where it has easy access to each side for play by more than one child at a time. I invite you to watch my little home video for a quick preview.
