Back To School with PlanetBox Lunchboxes: Review

It's almost Back To School for us so we're getting ready for homemade school lunches again! This is part one of three in which I'll share with you lunch ideas for our PlanetBox. I have shared some lunchbox ideas in the past so you may already know that my kids like a variety of foods to eat. I pack just a little of each to help satisfy them or to share with a friend.

PlanetBox are stainless steel segmented lunchboxes. They are high quality, eco-friendly, non-toxic, non-leaching, safe from BPA, phthalates, and lead, easy to clean and makes packing lunch easy and fun! They come in three sizes and styles to suit your needs. Be sure to customize yours with a fun bag and a choice of magnets and accessories!

The Rover is designed perfectly for us who like wide variety of foods with smaller serving sizes. The Rover holds nearly 4.5 cups of food! Measures 10 x 7 x 1.5 inches.
Each Rover lunchbox includes 1 Big Dipper and 1 Little Dipper.

We chose the Rocket Red Carry Bag. I do recommend a flat cold ice pack (they do sell one as well) to fit into the sleeve of your carry bag.

PlanetBox is custom designed to fit all the foods your kiddos like. This specific one, the Rover, comes with 7 different compartments such as a "Little Dipper" container for your dips or sauces, a "Big Dipper" great for the messier items like pasta salad or yogurts or juicy berries or cut melon, a "Veggie" or "Fruit" section, a "Long" compartment for pretzels, crackers or nuts,  a "Main dish" section for your sandwich and of course the "Treat" space for a little something special like a small cookie, kiss or chocolate chips.

How about creating more personalization with assorted magnets for your PlanetBox? There are many different designs to choose from!

Here is a sample of what my son would like to pack for his school lunch. He chose to have a PB & J sandwich thin, granola bar, raisins, celery & PB, cheesy whale crackers with pretzel sticks and fresh berries in the "Big Dipper" with an apple juice. I threw in a little kiss too.
