I was offered to pick a couple pieces out from NOVICA, so I went to their Unique Gifts section as well as their Silver Jewelry Section to see what goodies I could find to treat myself. I searched through hundreds of earrings and necklaces trying to decided what I'd really like. Take a look at what I received:

'Happy Hmong Village' Cotton Handbag
All is color in this charming village scene. Embroidered by hand, people from Thailand's Hmong hill tribe go about their daily chores. The motifs cover a generous front pocket on a cotton sling tote. By Jiap Rojjana, the bag is fully lined and an inner pocket with zipper keeps small items handy. Both the outer pocket and the purse close with coconut shell buttons.

This is a great bag, I love the culture of it, the lovely embroidery on the front pocket, the large strap is perfect for wrapping over your shoulder (great for when you're out and about and want both hands free from a falling purse strap). The buttons are adorable and it's got lots of room inside. I love how simple but different it is. It came beautifully gift wrapped, I hated unwrapping it! =)

'Frangipani Twins' Earrings

Kenari transforms the ethereal beauty of frangipanis into a design of timeless elegance. The earrings are crafted with sterling silver featuring petals with textured details. .925 Sterling silver

I LOVE these flowers (I'll call them Plumerias), having lived in Hawaii these bring back memories for me, those flowers smell SO good!  These earrings are just beautiful, dangly, bright and nicely made, however the earring hook is different from their photo (above). They came wrapped up in a beautiful gift box tied with a handmade floral (see my photo). Along with that came a note card telling a little about the artist, Kenari from Bali.

I am questioning the original shipment origin of these items, on March 31, in my Fed Ex email it says arrived at shipping in Thailand and should be here the 11th. It made it here the 6th, and the shipping label on the simple cardboard box they shipped these in says it's from novica.com customer service in Kansas City, MO dated March 31. HMMMM???? I thought these would really be shipped from Bali and Thailand to me.
Anyways, these pieces are lovely and I'm going to assume they are all shipped to a warehouse in MO from their countries. I will have to ask about that.
