Betty Crocker “Win & Give” Program XO Laptop Giveaway

The Betty Crocker Fruit Flavored Snacks “Win & Givecampaign provides an opportunity for kids in the US to win an XO laptop and give a laptop to a child in Africa. For every 100 UPC codes entered, Betty Crocker Fruit Flavored Snacks donates 1 XO laptop to a child in Africa.

Parenting expert Dr. Michele Borba is working Betty Crocker Fruit Flavored Snacks and the “Win & Give” campaign, a partnership with the non-profit One Laptop per Child (OLPC), not only to make it easy for moms and kids to give to others, but also to show that giving to others can be fun.

Dr. Borba recently traveled to Rwanda with Betty Crocker Fruit Flavored Snacks and OLPC to help give XO laptops to kids in schools. For her thoughts on the trip and the program itself, please visit www.MicheleBorba.com. For more information, you may also check out www.WinOneGiveOne.com to see first-hand the incredible impact these laptops have had on the kids in Rwanda along with additional tips from Dr. Borba and videos of her speaking about the positive impact giving back has on the lives of children.

I had the privilege to blog about this program last year and am happy to again. However it seems they have already reached their donation limit this year, much earlier than anticipated, how great is that! But I am being offered to giveaway one XO laptop and some Betty Crocker Fruit Flavored Snacks on my blog.

The XO laptop was designed especially for children. It has 1 GB of memory and 4 GB of Flash storage, a rugged plastic exterior, built-in wireless, a unique dual mode display that is readable under direct sunlight and software designed for children to encourage exploration, creativity, and collaboration. The retail value of this laptop is $199. For more information on the laptop, here are some specs.
The laptop will not be sent until after the program concludes in May.

  1. My daughter would really like this. She recently sold her long-time "computer" and a more realistic computer would be right up her alley.
