Aurora World Inc. is pleased to announce a new Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy line. Do you remember Raggedy Ann & Andy? I sure do. The original doll with a heart is back!

Raggedy Ann & Raggedy Andy were created by Johnny Gruelle in 1918 for his daughter, Marcella. First created as storybook characters, then brought to life as dolls.

Aurora is thrilled to work with Hasbro to bring a new generation of children into the fold of this classic and beloved brand with a new line of plush dolls striking just the right balance of vintage and modern elements
They are very excited to showcase these handmade pieces that feature exquisite detail including fine facial features and yarn hair with the classic loop style. These are heirloom treasures that can be passed on for generations

The 8", 12" 16" and 25" classic Raggedy Ann or Raggedy Andy rag dolls are: $10, $15, $25 and $35.
The Fancy Pals style -- Raggedy Ann Butterfly or Red Ribbon -- are 7" and $17 each

Aurora sent us the adorable 16" Raggedy Ann classic doll. She is just so cute, I love all the details of her clothing and face, such nice work. She even has traditional embroidered "I Love You" heart on her chest. My two little ones (yes even my boy!) cried over who got to play with her at times, silly kids. She sits safe and neat up in my closet for now.

Coming up for Christmas, soon they'll have the Raggedy Ann "Chilly Chic" and "Santa's Helper" and Raggedy Andy "Chilly Chic" and "Santa" are 16 inches and SRP is $27. All Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy items are great for ages 18 months and up. So something to think about for any Santa's lists that will be created in the short months ahead.
