Reusable Snack Bags from Etsy Store Cover Under The Mat: Worldwide Giveaway and Review


Cover Under The Mat is an Etsy store by Christine S. She specializes in making reusable snack bags as well as other homemade fabric gifts. She was kind to offer me a reusable snack bag in a polka dot pattern for my daughter. These snack bags are durable, made with a sturdy baggie to protect the food and fabric, velcro closure for easy access. They are about 6x6.5" big and best of all reusable, just turn inside out and put in the top rack of your dishwasher to clean. I then took mine out once done and let it air dry resting on top of a spoon in a cup. I suggest buying a pack of these so you have one clean at all times, since they take a little while to be completely dry.

We are enjoying our snack bag. It's been to school a few days now and is holding up well. It's lasted through the dishwasher and saved us on using a disposable baggie everyday for loose snacks. I asked Christine a few questions about her Etsy, here's what she said:

How long have you been sewing?
I've been sewing for about 2 years now, but just recently opened up my etsy store. I'm surprised and excited at how well it took off. People really need those mat covers!

What other sewing projects do you take on?
I like to do any sewing, especially new projects. It's a challenge to try something new, but fun! :) Right now I'm making Kindermat covers, diaper clutches, burp cloths, pillowcase dresses, pillowcases, and then the snack bags.

Where do you ship to?
Worldwide.

What are the care instructions and sizes for these snack bags?
To wash you turn them inside out and wash in the dishwasher, once the cycle is done take it out and let them air dry. Or you can wash by hand and air dry. Really simple! :)
