Cans Get You Cooking Giveaway and Review: Blueberry and Pear Yogurt Pops

Today I am sharing a recipe with you using Del Monte canned pears. With Summer peeking right around the corner, I'm sure we'll all be making popsicles all the time. I found this easy recipe that combine some of our favorites, greek yogurt, blueberries and pears. Blend them all up and pour into your favorite molds and enjoy later in the day. (I found my molds on Amazon, love them but I need more, so I also had to use plastic cups)

Blueberry and Pear Yogurt Pops
adapted from Recipe.Com 

1 15.25 oz. can Del Monte pear halves in heavy syrup (you'll use 3 pear halves), reserve 2 TBL of syrup
1 cup frozen blueberries
2 cups vanilla honey greek yogurt

Drain the pears, reserving 2 tablespoons of syrup. Place three pear halves, blueberries, reserved syrup and yogurt in a blender or food processor. Cover and mix until it's smooth. Divide the mixture evenly among ice-pop molds. Freeze until firm, 4 to 6 hours or overnight. When ready to serve, run popsicle molds under cool/warm water to loosen the mold. Enjoy!

(this gave me about 3 3/4 Cups of mixture and made me seven pops from my molds)

I used my regular popsicle molds and then used cups & sticks to make more.

I was sent two varieties of Puffins to review, the Multigrain and Honey Rice which are both gluten free.

-Puffins Multigrain are lightly sweetened GF whole grain pure oats, brown rice and corn crunchy pillows.
They also contain natural prebiotic fiber. These were great, we all enjoyed them.

-Puffins Honey Rice are whole grain brown rice pillows with a honey sweetness. To me, these tasted like they have almond extract in it. I liked the little sweetness of these.

I absolutely loved the thinkThin Crunch Coconut Chocolate Mixed Nuts, chocolate, coconut and rice crispies yum! Sucré Macarons: Giveaway and Review

  

Oh boy!! We were sent these beautiful  macarons from Sucré (French for sugared), a Sweet Boutiques and Confection Studio in New Orleans. They offer a variety of treats from chocolates, caramels, marshmallows, king cakes and more, both at their shops and online. Don't they have the most adorable packaging?

We received the Sucré Signature Macaron Collection, 15 Piece valued at $30. These very delicate French macaron cookies are filled with luscious mousseline. Flavors include: Pecan, Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Almond, Pistachio, Strawberry, Hazelnut, and Bananas Foster.

Even though a few of ours almost didn't make the trip, they were still delicious and loved no matter what. We all loved them. My favorite flavor was the pecan, the white dark speckled one under the yellow there. These are also gluten free, so yay!
