Asian “Take-Out” just got a modern makeover with the introduction of Dr. McDougall’s Right Foods Asian Entrées. The new line of microwaveable, calorie-friendly (only 200-280 calories per meal) Asian Entrées joins the brand’s already successful family of foods. these new microwavable meals are all-natural, eco-friendly, vegan, and non-GMO as well, a perfect alternative to the higher-calorie, lower-nutrition products within the category on the market.
The eight low-fat varieties include Pad Thai Noodles, Spicy Kung Pao Noodles, Teriyaki Noodles, Thai Roasted Peanut Noodles, Soy Ginger Noodles, Spicy Szechuan Noodles, Masala Lentil Pilaf, and Lentil Curry Pilaf. They come in microwavable paper cups – a refreshing alternative to Styrofoam ramen noodle cups that never biodegrade.
Reflecting the brand’s longstanding commitment to environmental responsibility, Dr. McDougall’s Right Foods Asian Entrees come in paper-based, BPA-free packaging exclusively sourced from certified sustainably managed forests.
Available at natural food stores and in the natural foods section of select traditional grocery stores nationwide, as well as www.rightfoods.com, Dr. McDougall’s Right Foods Asian Entrées carry a SRP of $2.29 per package. To find a store near you, check here.
As the nation’s leading natural soup cup brand, Dr. McDougall’s Right Foods® offers more than 40 all-natural, healthy meals that deliver on taste, nutrition and satisfaction. Before these arrived, I read about them online and they seemed to have recieved great reviews, so I was eager to give them a try. The four I received were Pad Thai Noodles, Spicy Kung Pao Noodles, Teriyaki Noodles and Thai Roasted Peanut Noodles. I first dug into a fave flavor, Teriyaki Noodle. Once cooked I let it set up for the sauce to thicken and the noodles to soak it up. These offer a great amount of noodles, perfect for a light lunch or snack. I thought this flavor was pretty good. I also tried the other flavors, though I am not a fan of nuts lingering in my food. The Pad Thai Noodles, once cooked and set, turned into a mound of noodles, I recommend for this one to lay it out on a plate if you can or the noodles get stuck together. I found the Spicy Kung Pao Noodles to be a little bit spicy for myself.
I do like these Dr. McDougall’s Right Foods Asian Entrées being a healtheir alternative to other cup O meals out there, and the flavors are great too.
