It's been quite a while since I joined in with TWD. I hope to be back into her book now, as we are pretty much settled into our new place. This weeks feature recipe are the Chocolate Chunkers that were chosen by Claudia of Fool for Food.
I went with apricots and peanuts for my choices, rather than the raisins. As I was mixing this up, it reminded me of trail mix ingredients, chocolate, dried fruit, nuts...these also remind me of Nestle Chunky bars.
These are pretty good, nice and chocolaty, very chocolaty! The tang from the apricots pairs well with the chocolate and the salty peanuts are great with the sweetness. I baked the cookies for 11 minutes and got just about 3 dozen from this recipe.

Your Chunkers look fabulous! I like the fact that you used apricots, I will keep it in mind for the next time I make these!
These look delicious. I'm new to your blog and am thoroughly enjoying it. Lots of great ideas here!

Looks like you plucked those right off the pages - so yummy looking!
These look tasty.
Oooh, I'll bet the apricots were amazing in these. Just a tart note to complement all the sweetness (and the salty nuts, ofc). Lovely pix too!
