Review and Giveaway: Relish! Menu Planning Guide

I don't know about you, but I am not really a big menu planner, I will plan for a few days up to a week. I like to cook what we're in the mood for rather than a set menu. But when you're stuck in a rut and need some new dinner ideas, or a new menu planned there's Relish! I was given a month subscription to try Relish! myself, and already into week 2, I have to say I like this! We are trying new recipes, menu planning is easy, the shopping list is great and organized. It's so easy!!

They offer the plan to get you out of your dinner rut for good and to prepare healthy and creative dinners, every night. You choose your weekly recipes, the grocery list is tabulated, shop once a week and have all of the ingredients needed for five meals. How nice, huh!

Relish! a truly cool meal-planning service for busy parents. This easy to use (really), mom-run website helps you prepare healthy, creative meals every week! You pick from a ton of excellent tested recipes, a very cleverly organized grocery list is automatically created, then all you do is hit the store for five days worth of home-cooked meals--not one of which takes more than 30 minutes to prepare. You'll find a whole lot to choose from including freezer meals, vegetarian menus, super-quick and slow cooker recipes. You’ll find tons of kid’s faves that don't include the word "nugget."

For subscriptions at $7 a month, you'll end up with five complete dinners for a family of four running you less than $95. Between the money savings and the anxiety savings, you’re coming out way ahead. Plus your menu planning and shopping list is solved, so no worries or headaches there!

For each recipe, they give you an entree with a side, and a dessert for the week. You pick 5 out of say 15 meals for that week and they even code it for ease of choosing and you can even alter it to feed 4-8 people. Every week they'll email you to come pick the next week's menu.

The Recipe Legend Codes are:

KF - Kid Friendly
Q - Quick
C - Crockpot
SG - Simple Gourmet
V - Vegetarian
LC - Lower Calorie
M - Morning Prep
O - One Pot
D - Dessert
CM - Custom Meal

So please stop by Relish! and check it out! It sure comes in handy! Plus you can always give a subscription as a gift! Here's a peek at my shopping list.

This sounds great -- I'm not a planner. Seems as though many of my organizational skills were left at the office. This would be a great kick-starter. Thanks for the opportunity! BlickMail@yahoo.com

I'm a weekly menu planner--but I feel free to sub in a pastaroni or hamburger helper when the mood strikes. This would be fantastic though! christi.higham@gmail.com
