Mini Pies: Adorable and Delicious Recipes for Your Favorite Treats Cookbook Giveaway and Review {Rafflecopter}

Mini Pies: Adorable and Delicious Recipes for Your Favorite Treats by Morgan Greenseth and Christy Beaver. They also own the Mini Empire Bakery in Seattle where they supply restaurants and cafes with cupcake-size pies.

This cute little book will have something you'll like. It starts off with many kinds of crusts from the Perfect Pie Crust, graham, vegan, nutty, gluten free to even pie in a jar crusts. Which flavor of pie do you want? Fruit pies such as Verry Berry, Apple Chai, Blackberry Pear or Saint Grape? Maybe you like Creamy Custard Pies like pumpkin, Tart Key Lime, Mango Cream, or Aunt Jimma's Chocolate Cream? There are Nut and Savory Pies too like the Bourbon Pecan, Cranberry Almond Pistachio or the Savory Apple Chile with Cheddar Cheese Crust. Don't forget the good old toppings, flavored whipped creams, Mmmm.

This book is full of great photographs of each mini pie along with tips to that recipe. For my review I made the Perfect Pie Crusts to go with Sweet Strawberry (and Basil Whipped Cream, which I passed on) and also the Pumpkin Mini Pies. I had a Strawberry pie and it was DELISH, I loved the little lattice top I made. Then sadly I went gluten free after I made the pumpkin pies, so I didn't get to taste any, but I hear they were great too. Had I thought of it, I would've tried the GF crust they have in the book. I love the mini pies, they're more personal and portion sized, I'm thinking of doing some for the Holidays.

Whipped Topping?

Or Lattice?
