The photos on this blog were taken with this camera. It's a great camera, pretty easy to use. I am not a professional photographer, I just enjoy taking pictures, and trying to improve myself with the skills this camera has.
mine is this silver version, but that does not matter
I have some photos posted here at Flickr.

I thought that maybe I should have a section where I can talk about, whatever. So here it is.
I started a recipe blog (after tearing down my old website, which I never revamped), for a quick reference to recipes I use often. Also to share with friends and family. Thanks for stopping by, and who knows, maybe I'll blog hop over to yours and say HI!
Iam a Mommy to our 3 kids & Wife to my Husband. I love to cook & bake, so I wanted to share some of our favorite recipes we have at home, with others. Photography is another of my favorites, so why not combine the two! I've taken the pictures, so you can see what the final product would look like. Some recipes are from family, others I've found online or along the way. If you try any of my own personal/family recipes, please be sure to let me know how it was, in a comment.
One of my foodie blog rolls asked to see where our masterpieces were made. So everyone posted a picture of their kitchen to share. Now ours is nothing quite as nice as the others, but it is what it is and we make do. We're renting this house, and it is old. Iam used to small kitchens and small working spaces (oh I dream of a large kitchen with an island).
There is this great slab of stone on this side, and this is where I work.
I take my recipe photos outside or wherever I can get the best lighting.
This is my current favorite place to photograph, the 'puter/playroom room. It's bright and has lots of natural light down here. Near the sliding door right on top of my Grandma's old sewing table. I love the dark aged wood, scratched, faded and all! Sometimes it's hard not to get the kids play area in the backgrounds, haha.
My header is a painting from a friend of my parents, back in the 70s. It painted on a half circle of a piece of wood. The hanger on the back is a soda pop tab. It's always hung in my mom's kitchen over a doorway. I've always liked it and was happy she let me have it to hang in mine.

I just wanted to say that I love your blog, and check it daily. I love that you show how a meal comes together and how it looks. I am not very good at cooking and I would rather see a picture and know what it should look like before deciding to try the recipe.
Keep up the good work.
Thank you Sleeplesswonder! I feel the same, I'd rather see a picture of what it looks like, to see if it looks good enough to eat :)
Please come back and let me know if you've tried any of these recipes!
I'd love to have a gas oven like that. I'm sure that many delicious meals are lovingly made in your kitchen!
Thank you Bellini Valli. It may be an old stove, but I love the gas!
hey, nice setup! I like the cloth backdrop.
