Homemade Strawberry Mango Freezer Jam

2 cups strawberries, washed, hulled, crushed
2 small mangoes, diced
2 tablespoons lemon juice
4 cups sugar
3/4 cup water
1 box Ball Original Fruit Pectin

Crush berries and fruit with a potato smasher. Combine prepared fruit (I used enough smashed strawberries and mango to equal 2 C total), lemon juice and sugar in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly; let stand 10 minutes. Combine water and fruit pectin in a small saucepan. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil hard for 1 minute, continuing to stir. Add cooked pectin mixture to fruit, stir 3 minutes. Ladle into plastic freezer containers, leaving 1/2 inch head space, apply lids. Let stand in refrigerator until set. Do not exceed 24 hours. Store in the freezer up to 1 year or 3 weeks in refrigerator.

~my side note:
I had a little smashed fruit leftover, I'll use for another time. My jam never fully set. It's still a little runny, but tastes great! This gave me about 6 Cups of jam.

Now this sounds like a yummy jam. I always buy the strawberry from the store and have always wanted to try homemade.
