Pepper Jack Cheese Stuffed Burgers

Thanks to Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, we were inspired to make our own cheese stuffed burgers. I say we because it was the one time Mr. was watching the Food Network with me, haha. Guy sure makes you hungry watching his show, even late at night. Now that's Bananas!

But these are Money! So here is how I made ours, I just eyeballed it all to our tastes.

2 lbs 85% lean ground beef
garlic powder
onion powder
salt
pepper
few shakes of Worcestershire sauce (say it!)
drizzle of Hickory smoke flavoring (such as this)
pepper jack cheese, sliced or cubed

Carefully combine all, not to overmix it or you'll have tough burgers! Form into desired size patties, place some cheese in the center of one patty. Top with a second patty and press around the edges to seal. Grill away! You may have some cheese trying to escape, that's OK, it's all good eats. =)
I picked up some Honey Wheat burger buns from Trader Joe's to go with these.

enjoy,

Those look delicious! I actually haven't listed the bookmarks yet, I was waiting for opinions. But so far a few people have said they like em, so I just might be listing them in the next few days :)

This sounds like one delicious burger. I love pepperjack cheese.

i soo agree with u! a burger is usually over priced outside and a home made (esp juicy one likes yours) tastes so much better!

We love watching DD&D! My hubby is often the one that turns to that channel.

These burgers look fantastic! I may have to surprise DH with them for Father's Day. I normally make the patties while he's fiddling with the grill - so it's a great opportunity to surprise him!!!

II also like adding a dash of soy sauce when I use Worcestership - the flavors are very complimentary and seem to make the meat even more juicy.

Now I'M hungry...
