Review and Giveaway: Horizon Organic Lowfat Chocolate Milk with DHA Omega-3

Have I got a delish review and treat for you about Horizon Organic lowfat Chocolate Milk with DHA Omega-3!

Horizon Organic lowfat Chocolate Milk with DHA Omega-3provides a great tasting and easy way to add calcium and DHA to your family¹s diet. DHA Omega-3 is an important nutrient that helps support heart, brain and eye health, and it¹s available in lowfat half gallons.
DHA belongs to a category of healthy fatty acids known as Omega-3's. Found in high concentrations in the tissues of the brain and eye, DHA Omega-3 is thought to help support healthy function in these areas. DHA has also been shown to help support heart health.
DHA provides a nutritional boost for children's growing minds and bodies. Children's brains grow incredibly fast. In fact, the brain nearly quadruples in the first five years of life. DHA is a key structural component of the brain, yet many young children don't get their recommended daily amount of DHA as it is found in a limited number of food sources.
Horizon Organic Milk Plus DHA Omega-3 is fortified with a natural, 100 percent vegetarian and sustainable source of DHA - a safe, wholesome, delicious way to bring more of this important nutrient into your family's diet. Visit http://www.horizonorganicdha.com/ to learn more!
Flavored Milk is a Nutrient-Rich Beverage· Flavored milk provides the same nine essential nutrients as unflavored milk (calcium, potassium, phosphorous, protein, vitamins A, D,B12, Riboflavin and niacin), and can help kids meet their calcium requirements.

We were sent 2 coupons for a free half gallon of Horizon Organic Lowfat Chocolate Milk with DHA Omega-3. I easily found them at my local Vons store in the milk case (I've also seen the individual servings of Horizon Organic Milk on the aisles in other stores). I knew these would not last long, chocolate milk + 3 kiddos? Hello! SO of course when we got home, we all had a glass of this milk. WOW! It was SO creamy, thick, chocolaty and lowfat??? No way! But yes! All the more reason to drink more of it right? =)
We really loved this, much better than chocolate milk you make from a squirt bottle! The kids were always having a glass of chocolate milk at every meal and snack. If you've never tried Horizon Organic Lowfat Chocolate Milk with DHA Omega-3, I suggest you do. I bet you and your kids would love it too!

I have been wanting to try this milk for a long time but hate buying something and not liking it. My comment from their website is my 16 month old grandson needs more DHA than he is probably getting for good brain development.

I learned that DHA is a major component in the retina of the eye, and makes up almost 50 percent of the fatty acids in the retina.

DHA is also being studied for its possible impact on adult eye health. Sounds like a good reason to drink even more chocolate milk:)
