Tuesdays with Dorie: Chocolate Ganache Ice Cream

I'm back baking with TWD! We are pretty much settled in as much as we're going to be for a little bit (still have a few things to fix up here), but for Tuesdays with Dorie this week, we're making chocolate ice cream! How perfect, since it's our 7 year old's birthday too! After a couple hours playing at the beach, this was great!

Katrina of Baking and Boys chose to make Chocolate Ganache Ice Cream. (she's got the recipe for ya!)

I made a double batch because well we love ice cream! This is my second time using the ice cream maker, and we loved the first batch we made. I used Ghirardelli 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate Chips. Boy is this a rich chocolaty creamy ice cream! You know what else? Like other TWDers have done, this would be great made into rocky road ice cream! Chocolate lovers, you'll love this!

sometimes I am lazy to look up the TWD link on my blog, so I search it, lol... well it got me 14 Swag Buck Bills this time! Are you a Swaggernaut too? I'm still getting there, trying to earn my 3rd Amazon GC.
