-closed- Tate's Bake Shop: Review and Giveaway

Tate's Bake Shop is owned by Kathleen King and is locates in Southampton, NY.

"All Tate's baked goods are made from the finest natural ingredients, just the way Kathleen made them when she was 11 years old and first started selling cookies at her family's farm stand. She has expanded a lot since then, and now sells wonderful cakes, pies, crumbles, and many more cookies, but no matter what you're eating, the love Kathleen has put into her business over the last 40 years shows. You can tell with each bite.
Our cookbook is full of classic, crowd-pleasing desserts, all made with good fresh ingredients. According to Kathleen, “All the recipes in this book should take less time to make than it would to go to a store to buy a commercially prepared baked good,” so they're perfect for the busy holiday season when baked goodies are in high demand. Some of our most famous recipes include the sour cream coffee cake, pecan pie, and raspberry squares. The persimmon cookies and ginger hearts are also great holiday treats.

Our cookies are thin, crisp, and buttery, with just a hint of caramel flavor. We're not the only ones who think Tate's baked goods are the best: Everyday with Rachael Ray magazine, in a 50-brand taste-test, voted Tate's #1—the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies in America. Tate's has also been featured in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, as well as in the Washington Post, New York Post, and InStyle."

Find them on their Tate's Website and Facebook page as well.

We were sent a gift pack of assorted cookies and Tate's Bake Shop cookbook for review. Inside we found 14 cookies of each flavor, chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin and white chocolate chip macadamia nut! Each pack came wrapped and sat inside a cute box, perfect for gifting! These cookies are light, thin and crispy and oooohhh the taste of butter just melts in your mouth! The first pack to disappear was the White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut. Mmm!

I also get to share with you a special discount code "cookie", valid for 15% off on any tatesbakeshop.com  purchase from now through December 31st!

I went ahead and made their Orange Poppy Seed Muffins from their cookbook. Mmm, orange & vanilla is such a wonderful scent! These muffins peaked their highest and were so ever soft inside. These are really good! This cookbook is full of 125 recipes from cookies, muffins, pies, cakes, scones and brownies.

Orange Poppy Seed Muffins
flour
