The Sears Blue Tool Crew’s ‘Do It Together’ Program

Father's Day is near and there is a contest that salutes dads who use their tools and talents for the greater good of the community. The Sears Blue Tool Crew’s ‘Do It Together’ program is announcing year two of the “Unsung Heroes: Dads Making a Difference Contest.”

Ty Pennington, announces the next "Do It Together" (DIT) initiative here, check it out. Recognizing dads nationwide who use their tools to do good works for their communities, the Sears Blue Tool Crew contest is seeking entries that spotlight the work of fathers who serve as exemplary role models. Americans will vote to help select the winner of a grand prize worth $30,000 for use in the community

Beginning May 11, the Sears Blue Tool Crew will begin accepting nominations at www.facebook.com/searsbluetoolcrew for dads across America who are true role models in the community. Nominations require a 250 words-or-less essay on how your dad or a dad you know is using his tools to better his community.
Ten finalists will be announced on June 20 and America will select the grand prize winner, who will receive $30,000 in services and equipment towards a special community project.
