Celebrating the 55th Grammys with Merci Chocolates: Giveaway and Review

 

It's time to roll out the red carpets, because award season has arrived! One of the highlights of these annual star-studded evenings is listening to the emotional and meaningful thank you speeches. But as you watch their grand thank you speeches, it’s important to remember that giving someone a meaningful thank you isn’t just a once a year gesture. Giving a meaningful thank you is a heartfelt way to show those important to you that you truly appreciate them every day.

So as the stars share their thank yous, think of who you’d share a meaningful thank you with if you were on stage and consider saying thank you to someone in your life with a box of Merci chocolates.

When giving your toast, remember toasting is never roasting. Keep it short, kind and thoughtful.  You may do a Toast of Welcome which is given by anyone in celebration of an event of dinner among friends. A Toast to Guest of Honor is given at dessert time by the host or hostess. Also a Toast to the Host is given by the guest of honor to the host, but after the guest of Honor Toast is made.
If someone toasts you, you may raise your glass but not drink at that moment.

We celebrated at snack time here, we had some Blood Orange Italian Soda and popcorn. I've got the DVR set to record the Grammys, but since it's the kid's bedtime we'll watch it tomorrow (as long as it's kid friendly), I just want to watch for the red carpet! lol. Now, the Merci chocolates say in their allergen list that it has wheat (these are not gluten free then). From reading the ingredients I could not really figure which ones contained it, so I emailed them. If I hear back, I will update here. But the kids say they were really really good chocolates and they loved drinking out of the fancy glasses. So who you’d share a meaningful thank you with if you were to give a toast?
