This is a sponsored post and giveaway on behalf of Staples.
If you’re a fan of Crayola brand crayons then you’ll want to head to Staples and take a look at their “crayon wall.”
Now you can pick up an empty tin and customize it with your own set of colors. From Wild Watermelon to Mac and Cheese to Royal Purple Glitter – the choice is yours!
I was given the opportunity to work with Staples and try out the expanded assortment of educational supplies they offer. I was sent a tin with an assortment of Crayola crayons plus a $25 Staples Gift Card to use towards one of the following items:
Crayola
• Dry-erase pencils
• Model magic
• Air brush sprayer
LeapFrog
• Leap Explorer
• Leap Tag system
Melissa & Doug
• Wooden puzzle
• Car carrier
• Scratch art
Alex Toys
• Make and tape
Well we took off to go visit our Staples in our new town to go find some of these items. I looked them up online so I could see what they looked like as I was shopping for them. Sadly our Staples had very little to choose from. I only found the Crayola Model Magic but I knew my little ones would still love that. They ripped into that night.
The Model Magic is like a play dough but really soft (and gluten free!), it comes with a few different colors to work with. My daughter made a pretty red and white bowl which we allowed to sit out and harden. She uses it to save her coins in which she later takes to her school shop to shop with. One day I came home from work and saw they also made road pieces, gee, my little boy's idea? They also make a little baby wrapped in a blanket.
