We were sent coupons and a gift card to try Oroweat and make a sandwich recipe to share. I chose to use the Healthfull Steele cut oats and honey bread for them for this crazy big sandwich. This puppy really filled us up but was so delicious! Since I wanted to taste this sandwich too, I made the ingredients gluten free and used some other (gluten free) bread for mine.

Shredded BBQ Beef Mac n Cheese Grilled Sandwich

2-3 lb Chuck Roast
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 TBL oil
1 Cup beef broth
2 TBL Chopped garlic
1 Onion, sliced
2 Cups BBQ Sauce, divided
Cheddar Jack Cheese slices
Macaroni and Cheese (boxed, deli or homemade)
Crunchy onion strings (I made mine gluten free)
Butter
Oroweat® Healthfull® bread slices

Season the beef with salt and pepper, then sear in a hot skillet with a little oil for 3-4 minutes on top and bottom sides. Place in slow cooker along with broth, garlic, sliced onion and 1 Cup bbq sauce. Cook on low 6 hours or until tender and shreds easily (my cooker is best at 6 hrs). Remove from cooker and shred, add in the last 1 Cup bbq sauce, set aside (can add in the cooked onion and garlic leftovers if you want). Make the macaroni and cheese per package (I used boxed Annie's Gluten Free mac n cheese), set aside. If making homemade onion strings do so and set aside in a warm oven.

Melt a little butter in a hot skillet, add 2 slices of bread (per sandwich), carefully pile on a little cheese, macaroni and cheese, roast beef and onion strings (I left open faced to cook as shown). Allow bread to cook and get golden for a couple of minutes. Carefully assemble both slices together and remove to a cutting board. Let rest for a minute then carefully slice. Cook remaining sandwiches. Serve, with napkins and maybe a fork.

A restaurant I went to had a turkey, cranberry sauce, cream cheese and bean sprouts. I think that would be good on this bread.
