This weeks Tuesdays with Dorie recipe Chipster-Topped Brownies was chosen by Beth of Supplicious. Take a look at those! The best of two worlds.
This was like 2 desserts in one. Chocolate chip cookie topped brownies! This was really easy to make, mix the brownie ingredients (I used pecans in mine), then make up the cookie dough and spread it on top of the brownie batter. Bake for about 1 hour (I covered my cookie top with parchment so it wouldn't get too brown). You can see some of the cookie's chocolate chips sank to the brownies.
Would you believe even at day 3 we still have about half the pan left! I thought for sure they'd be gone in no time.
Head on over to Beth's blog for the recipe, if you must try these!
enjoy,

YUM, When do you have time to make all these YUMMY things! YOU amaze me Rachelle! Anyway, I wish I was your neighbor (I'm not the nosy kind, but I would make an exception haha) cause I would be over when I smelled you baking something!
Looks Delish!

Those layers look divine! These were pretty rich, so it doesn't take much to get your fill!

Love your picture of the leaning tower of chipster-topped brownies! They look really yummy!
Well, they are rather rich :) But since you have extras, it appears I'm all out.... Gorgeous!
They look perfect! What a great shot of those tempting little brownies.
These brownies caught my eye. Yum! They look amazing. I can never resist a homemade brownie!
Three days and you still have 1/2 a pan? Were they not very good? They look good.

Your brownies look so much better than mine. Mine just looked like a dark brown bar cookie. I wasn't thrilled with the results, but I must admit that the flavor and texture was better on the 2nd day. :)
I'm so jealous of your pretty, distinct layers! Nice job. My cookie dough sank into my brownie batter. Oh well, they were still pretty tasty :)
Chipsters look perfect. So moist and yummy!
They look perfect Rachel!
