-closed- New Athenos Greek Yogurt: Review and Giveaway for 3 Winners!

NEW Athenos Greek Yogurt is a tasty snack that won’t leave you feeling guilty. At just 100 calories a piece, ATHENOS fruit topping varieties are the perfect snack whether you’re home or on the go. With its dual-compartment, nonfat yogurt in one section and the toppings on the side, ATHENOS is easy to customize to suit your tastes.

Athenos Greek Yogurt Facts
- The only dual-compartment with fat free yogurt: Athenos Greek Yogurt is the only brand that has nonfat yogurt in a dual-compartment single-serve product – yogurt in one section and fruit or honey on the side. It comes in five delicious varieties, including plain, strawberry, blueberry, peach and honey.
- 100-calorie varieties: The single-serve varieties with fruit toppings are only 100 calories.

One ingredient: Athenos Greek Yogurt is strained the authentic way and made from only one ingredient – cultured pasteurized nonfat milk. Check the labels: some competitor brands add thickeners to their Greek yogurt, which can create a laundry list of undesirable ingredients.
- Packed with calcium and protein: An 8-oz. serving of Athenos Greek Yogurt provides 30 percent of the recommended daily value of calcium and 46 percent of the recommended daily value (23g) of protein.
- Nonfat versus Full Fat Greek Yogurt: Nonfat Greek yogurt dominates the category as 70 percent of consumers purchase nonfat Greek yogurt, while 20 percent purchase the full fat varieties and only 10 percent purchase the low fat varieties. (Source: Nielsen scanner data)

You can also find them on Facebook too!

We were sent ATHENOS Greek Yogurt in Plain, and their new fruit topping ones, Blueberry, Peach, Strawberry, Honey. Athenos Greek Yogurt is super thick, rich, creamy and tangy. The addition of the fruit toppings make it like a little dessert treat. The kids and I enjoyed these. I was also sent a tub of plain yogurt, which was used in a chicken recipe for crispy yogurt chicken strips (see here). When ever I bake with yogurt, it's always Greek yogurt, I love the thickness of it and it makes whatever it is, moist or tender.

I haven't baked with yogurt before! We actually have a yogurt maker, but haven't made yogurt in years, but I think baking is a fantastic idea!

I definitely like cooking and baking with yogurt, and when I do, it's nearly always Greek yogurt too... because for some reason the Greek yogurt brands go for a package size that more closely matches what I need for the recipe. That is just the kind of nerd I am!

Hi, I'm a MIH Facebook Fan (FB name: Maddie Brubaker). I haven't baked with yogurt but I'm sure it would taste great. I have used yogurt on baked potatoes instead of sour cream, but that's the extent of my "cooking" with it! Thanks so much for the giveaway!

Hi! I'm a MIH facebook fan who also loves to bake with yogurt. In fact, I just baked a blueberry coffee cake that friends devoured for brunch. I agree that it's an easy way to make rich, moist desserts. Yum!
